Abstract :
Some well known principles of filters and transmission lines are recalled and used to develop graphical methods of analyzing Iossless transmission line filters consisting of a series of symmetrical and identical sections. The results of this development are used to construct a special filter analysis chart by means of which a filter may be completely analyzed from a Smith Chart plot of the input impedance characteristics.
