Abstract :
Theoretical formulas are derived for the equivalent circuit parameters of a variety of discontinuties in balanced strip transmission line. These formulas are simple in form and are obtained by employing a small aperture procedure or a Babinet equivalence procedure in conjunction with an approximate model of the line. The results for a number of discontinuities are presented and comparison is made with the available measured data.
