Abstract
Dr. Weber was born in Vienna, Austria, on September 6, 1901, and received all his education there. He was graduated with the diploma of Electrical Engineer from the Technical University in Vienna in 1924, and joined the Austrian Siemens-Schuckert Company as research engineer. On the basis of several papers on field theory applied to machinery, he received the degree of Sc.D. from the Technical University in Vienna in 1927.
