Abstract :
The large signal response Iimitations of currently available operational amplifiers is discussed. Comparison is made between slewing and nonslewing types. A novel class B input stage is described having increased dynamic range, and a new monolithic operational amplifier design, which uses this input stage to obtain improved signal response, is presented.
