Performance of feedback systems with nonlinear phase-advance compensators to Gaussian inputs

Analytical results for the equivalent gains of two previously suggested nonlinear phase-advance compensators are found for sine and Gaussian inputs. Although they may improve the frequency response of a feedback system, they are shown to have no advantages for random inputs.
