Abstract :
A ferrite rod-and-tube structure that is suitable for an externally latched circulator has been analysed. The direction of circulation is shown to depend on the relative volumes of the oppositely magnetiscd rod and tube. Some effects of magnetisation are predicted for an ideal geometry.
