  • Abstract
    Transient response of emitter followers is analyzed incorporating the effects of collector-base and load capacitances, gain-bandwidth product, excess delay, and base, collector, and load resistances. Basic considerations pertaining to transient response and instabilities are discussed, and numerical results are given for a wide range of circuit parameters.
