Several court decisions concerning copyright law protection for the sequence, structure, and organization (SSO) of computer programs, alias ´protection or nonliteral program elements´, alias ´look and feel´, are discussed. The cases involved are Computer Associates International, Inc. v. Altai, Inc.; Whelan Associates, Inc. v. Jaslow Dental Laboratory, Inc.; Baker v. Selden; and Bonito Boats, Inc. v.
