Abstract :
Estimates of emittance growth from wakefield interactions are presented for traveling wave accelerator sections. The fundamental wake potential interactions are calculated using the TBCI computer code. Disturbances to the micropulse structure are then propagated through the waveguide structure. Superimposed longitudinal magnetic fields can be incorporated to mitigate emittance growth.
