Abstract :
In a recent letter, Tulunay proposed a system similar to one developed by the authors which was used (a) to demonstrate reduced fading in communications via the ionosphere by eliminating all but the signals from the ordinary Flayer, and (b) as an ionospheric sounder. The letter discusses some of the results obtained.
