Abstract :
The calculation of the radiation pattern and return losses of finite arrays of complex antenna elements normally requires much computer effort. To facilitate the solution of this type of problem on a medium power workstation, a method is presented which yields accurate results in times which, in some cases, are orders of magnitude faster than standard full wave techniques. The accuracy and numerical efficiency of this procedure are investigated and discussed. Numerical results for arrays of wire dipoles are presented and compared with those obtained using established techniques
