The author presents a performance comparison of two interleaving techniques for coded hybrid direct-sequence/slow frequency-hopped spread spectrum multiple-access (DS/SFH-SSMA) systems with noncoherent DPSK demodulation, employing predetection diversity (equal gain combining (EGC)) over indoor radio channels
