Abstract :
The letter attempts to find the number of derivatives whose zero-crossing information would be necessary for a satisfactory signal reconstruction. A method is obtained which shows that the number of terms considered of the Maclaurin-series expansion of the autocorrelation function is equal to half the number of derivatives used for the zero-crossing information.
