Abstract :
Automatic production of ´Crunchie´ bars at Cadbury has been achieved with the installation of a process management system from Ferranti, with consoles offering paint mimic diagrams, production parameters, status logs and alarm information. We report on this installation, and on another Ferranti set-up for monitoring pharmaceuticals.
