Abstract :
A special version of the generalised network formulation (GNF) suitable for calculating waveguide transitions of arbitrary shape is proposed, which involves a block-BEM and a modal expansion technique. Numerical results of the scattering parameters of some two-port linear waveguide problems confirm the validity of the method.
