Abstract :
A small signal equivalent circuit of two lateral coupled semiconductor diode lasers is presented. The circuit model is based on the small signal analysis of the rate equations. New elements are found for the out-of-phase modulation. Their values are a function of the coupling coefficient between these lasers. Small signal analysis has been carried out and agrees well with recently published data.
