Abstract :
Experience using bulk transmission reliability analysis techniques to evaluate economic transfer limitations is presented. The procedure is outlined as well as a discussion of the considerations that should be made in order to perform such a study. An example calculation demonstrating the process to calculate the expected value of potential benefits gained by elimination of limitations to economic transfer is illustrated.
