Abstract :
The first joint issue on Very-Large-Scale Integrated (VLSI) circuits of IEEE Transactions on Electron Devices and IEEE Journal of Solid-State Circuits appeared in April 1979. Now, in less than one year and a half, we present a second issue. It contains 56 articles on significant technical achievements in the world of VLSI.
