Abstract :
A broadband decision circuit with a novel single-ended input and differential output operating from DC to >6 Gbit/s has been fabricated using silicon bipolar transistor technology. Single-ended to differential signal conversion is realised within a single flip-flop stage by using an emitter-coupled feedback loop which eliminates the need for a stable reference voltage source
