Abstract
Dependence of microwave emission intensity from InSb on an angle between the dc electric and magnetic fields is measured in X-band at 77°K to investigate the mechanism of instability. Rather complicated magnetic field dependence is also shown. A linear relationship is found between log B0 and θmax , where B0 is the threshold magnetic field and Gmax is the angle between the electric and magnetic fields to give the maximum emission intensity.
