Abstract :
A monolithic SLIC fabricated with high-voltage dielectric isolation (DI) technology has been proven to have excellent performance and requires a minimum of external circuitry. The SLIC provides battery feed, overvoltage protection (with some external devices), ringing control, supervision, and hybrid functions.
