The West German machine tool company Oerlikon-Boehringer plans to spend DM8.5M next year on updating its Goppingen plant and improving its market potential. This year, for example, Oerlikon hopes to start production of the Taurus multi-technology centre (now manufactured in Zurich) at Goppingen, as Carissa Casey reports.
