  • Abstract
    We consider optical burst switching with acknowledgment in an edge router served by a limited number of wavelength channels. We approximate the latency of an arbitrary packet and derive exact expressions for the mean burst size and stationary burst blocking probability, which are insensitive to the traffic distribution.
