  • Abstract
    This special issue is devoted to various aspects of electrical discharges and electrical insulation in vacuum. The papers are mostly based on expanded presentations that were given at the XXII IEEE International Symposium on Discharges and Electrical Insulation in Vacuum (ISDEIV), which was held in Matsue, Japan, September 25-29, 2006. Other papers, not from the symposium but relevant to vacuum insulation, are also included.
