Abstract :
The signal propagation delay and the maximum percentage of overshoot or undershoot are specified for an interconnection of length l along with the driver resistance, RD, and the loading capacitance, CL. A computer efficient algorithm is described for studying the trade-offs of various pairs of parameters (i.e., CL, L, and C), such that the desired output signal performance (i.e., predictable and controlled digital signal noise) can be achieved
