Abstract
The resonance condition for transition radiation is considered as a possible method for providing x-rays with a specified frequecy spectrum. Two radiators have been designed for peak emission at photon energies of 11.6 and 12.8 keV. With an incident 4 GeV positron beam, the spectra of the radiators were measured and the results were in good agreement with theoretical predictions.
