Abstract :
The effects of phase shift on the gain stability of amplifiers used in nuclear spectrometry appears to have been largely ignored. Considerable improvements can be achieved when such parameters as DC gain and phase are taken into account. The theory is presented together with results on three types of nuclear pulse shaping.
