Abstract :
Optical quality of service (QoS) provisioning under the intricacy of four wave mixing (FWM) lightpaths interaction is tackled through connection admission control-routing and wavelength assignment (CAC-RWA) integration. Blocking probability and service level agreement compliance are assessed for approaches with different levels of FWM awareness in diverse network scenarios. A compromise solution is proposed to balance CAC complexity and level of QoS provided.
