Abstract :
The paper discusses the process of assembling the IPO (initial public offering) team. A successful public offering is a collaborative effort. It is important that the IPO team has knowledge of and experience in the industry of the issuing company or at least in a related industry. If the issuer is a company based outside the US, the team should also know the customs and business practices of the issuer´s home country. The paper presents a case study of a software company
