Propagation measurements at 11 Gc/s over a 35 km near optical path involving diffraction at two obstacles

Field-strength measurements using a receiving aerial of variable height show agreement with double-knife-edge diffraction theory, assuming that the effective diffracting height of trees is about 80% of the mean height.
