Abstract
Measurements on particulate barium ferrite samples, three with ZnTi doping and one with CoTi doping, are reported. The measurements were made using the torsion pendulum method. A decrease of the magnetocrystalline anisotropy field with increasing dopant concentration is found. The effect of grain size is also investigated. The method can be used to distinguish between single-domain and multidomain behavior of the particles
