Abstract :
Finland is a Western European country whose electricity is generated and distributed by many small, mostly private, companies. As the UK´s electricity supply industry is going to be privatised it is useful to look at how the Finnish system works. The authors look at the consumption and cost of electricity in Finland and compare it with electricity in the UK
