Abstract :
A planar structure is proposed for use in an edge-excited leaky-wave antenna. This structure can be modelled as a composite right-/left-handed transmission line and designed for continuous beam angle scanning. The 4times4 structure is simulated to verify the right-/left-handed nature of the structure and fabricated and measured to demonstrate the scanning capability
