Abstract
The author looks at the Earth from space, at the fragility of its climate, and at the protection of the climate by carefully watching and monitoring from space. A model of the climate is constructed and how the EM radiation influences the planet is discussed. Clouds, radiation and energy balance are looked at from space and satellite missions which can be used to monitor the long-term trends are presented
