Abstract :
This paper describes an interactive facility for the calculation and display of power-system transient-voltage and current waveforms. By obtaining these from an interactive computer with a graphics terminal, the total turn-round time of a program with a fast and efficient algorithm can be reduced from several hours to a few minutes. This enables an engineer to gain the insight and feel for a problem, giving him freedom and convenience
