Abstract :
The genetic algorithm (GA) is utilized to optimize the sizes and positions of slits on the printed circuit board power-bus to reduce specified impedance peaks that are cavity resonance in the structure. The evaluation method of the problem´s electromagnetic behavior is validated with the measurement, and the optimized slit power-bus is shown to lower the resonance points effectively.
