Graphical determination of the stability boundary in the real domain of an equilibrium point of a second-order nonlinear difference equation with a nonanalytic second member

This note exploits an idea reported previously, based on a particular characterisation of the stability boundary. The properties of the boundary permit the determination of the latter in step-by-step manner, even if the second member of the difference equation is not an analytic function.
