Abstract :
The former IEEE Consumer Electronics Group is now a part of the Broadcast, Cable and Consumer Electronics Society (BCCES) of the IEEE. However, we have not lost our identity. We have our own Administrative Committee and continue to sponsor this very worthwhile publication, the IEEE Transactions on Consumer Electronics. Through our new close association with engineers in the Broadcast and Cable Television fields we in the Consumer Electronics segment of BCCES have more benefits than ever to offer our membership. Membership in BCCES not only makes one eligible to subscribe to this publication but also, through a very attractive fee schedule, to subscribe at small additional cost to the other two BCCES publications, Transactions on Broadcasting and Transactions on Cable Television. In addition to keeping you in the forefront of technological development through papers published in the Transactions, we sponsor two highly successful Consumer Electronics conferences each year.
