Abstract :
The european tuner development, is characterized by rapid tuner technology and device evolution during the years from 1962 to 1966. Some of the devices which have been introduced, are transistor RF amplifiers and mixers, bandswitching and varactor diodes, as well as mechanical memories in conjunction with push-button systems for convenient station selection.
