Abstract :
A resonant-frequency characterization of microstrip resonators which is suitable for very accurate computer-aided design is described. The convergence behavior of the numerical computation based on the spectral-domain approach is discussed to secure the convergence accuracy. To reduce computation time, which at present may amount to several hours, a current expression in the spectral-domain approach is proposed. The computational results under a good convergence have excellent agreement with those measured after estimation of a suitable dielectric constant
