Abstract
Mr. Chairman, fellow members of the IRE Professional Group on Vehicular Communications, and guests: The situation in the Radio Communication field is like that of a big family sitting at the table waiting for Ma to cut the pie. No matter how she divides it, she finds that she has either left somebody out or that the pieces are too small to satisfy their growing appetites.
