Abstract :
Consideration is given to the detection of TV signals with a product detector. By experimental procedure, it is shown that a large bandwidth of the reference channel can improve the transient response and color performance of quasi-synchronous detectors. The text is documented with photographs to show the effects of modulation components in the reference channel.
