Higher Integration for Tomorrow´s Cassette/Tape Recorders

The continuing need to reduce assembly costs and bulk of consumer electronic equipments can still be satisfied by developing new integrated circuits to incorporate more functions and reduce external component requirements. This paper describes one such device which was designed for cassette/tape recorders and performs the functions of motor speed control, bias and erase oscillator, automatic and manual stop.
