Abstract
A surface-wave resonator is used to measure the propagation constant of energy in the TM01 mode on a G line over a wide frequency range when the line is dry, wet and enclosed in a dielectric shield. Measured data indicate low loss and relative immunity to moisture in the 0·5¿0·8GHz frequency range.
