Abstract :
This letter presents an enhanced strategy for site-matching of wind turbine generators using capacity factor curves, which can be employed to determine the optimum turbine rated wind speed that yields a maximum energy at a specific site. This strategy unifies several results from the literature and enables useful extensions and generalizations.
