Abstract :
Deflection system in a color TV consists of a sync separator, vertical and horizontal oscillators, and an AFC circuit. Several devices to perform these functions have been developed. Stringent requirements of frequency stability necessiated the development of sophisticated devices such as AFC and frequency count down IC´s.
