  • Abstract
    The choice is reviewed of the 25kV AC system for the modernisation of the St. Pancras/Moorgate-Bedford suburban services, together with the achievements which have resulted in a reduction of the electrification fixed-equipment costs. Details are given of the traction power-supply arrangements and the electrification equipment installed on the project.
