  • Abstract
    Measurements, at ambient temperature, with electric stresses in the solid up to 110kV/mm approaching the electric strength of the dielectric, are described. At the highest stresses, the tendency to self extinction of the discharges disappears, and the larger discharges become more frequent with time.
