Abstract :
The results of tests made on a novel coupler design suitable for MIC´s are described. The design utilizes resistive termination of fields above the dielectric. Directivity of 14 dB was achieved with a λ/16 coupler at 3.6 GHz. Uses for this design technique are signal sampling where very flat coupling is not required.
