Dedication: Alex J. Stripeika

Summary form only given, as follows. Alex J. Stripeika, a former member of the Nuclear and Plasma Sciences Society and a key figure in NSS - SNPS conferences for many years, died in Livermore, California on September 4th, 1985. Mr. Stripeika came to LLNL one month after it opened in 1952 and stayed there 31 years. In his electronics career at LLNL he headed several groups and divisions, including Research and Development, Special Projects and Operations, Chemistry and Computations Systems, and Engineering Services. Alex served the IEEE - NPSS in a dedicated and expert fashion for many years, in particular through his involvement with the NPSS AdCom and in support of this Conference. His many friends in IEEE wish to express their heartfelt condolences to his wife and children. To honor Alex, the Technical Program of the 1985 Nuclear Science Symposium - Symposium on Nuclear Power Systems is hereby dedicated to the memory of Alex J. Stripeika, in appreciation for his many personal and professional contributions to IEEE.
